You can also line it with parchment paper as I often do and then spray with non-stick cooking spray. Combine the dry bread ingredients flour through salt together in a large bowl. Whisk to combine. In a medium-size bowl, combine eggs, lemon juice, buttermilk and melted butter. Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Fold in rhubarb and strawberries. Pour into prepared pan. Streusel Topping Combine flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in cold butter using two forks until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over bread.
Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Turn pan halfway through baking. Cool completely in the pan on a wire cooling rack. Remove bread from pan. Combine glaze ingredients. Add additional milk if the glaze is too thick to drizzle over bread.

Chocolate buttercream g 1 scant stick softened butter g semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled 1 tbsp espresso or strong coffee, cooled 1 tbsp nutella, at room temperature. Mix flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl. Set aside. Beat eggs and sugar until very pale and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Sift in the flour mixture and stir carefully until mixture is smooth. Spread mixture on the baking paper almost all the way to the edges of the paper.
It should be thin but not so thin that you can see the paper through the mixture. Bake for minutes. While the cake is baking, put a piece of baking paper larger than the cake on your work surface. If needed, use a measuring tape to get evenly sized strips. I find it easier to use a pizza slicer than a knife to make even layers.
Start with one strip and roll, then take the next strip and put it right next to the edge of the first strip and roll.
Repeat the same steps with all layers. Once your roll cake is ready, simply tip it over and place it on a plate or a cake stand. If it feels unstable, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the fridge while you prepare the buttercream. Chocolate buttercream 1. Beat the butter until light and creamy. Add the melted chocolate, espresso and nutella and beat until smooth. If buttercream feels too loose, put the bowl in the fridge for a few minutes. Spread a thin layer of buttercream on the cake using an offset spatula.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Spread the remaining buttercream all over the cake. Garnish with edible flowers, blackberries, maltesers and a pinch of pink salt. Combine rhubarb, strawberries, sugar, vanilla and cardamom in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

This fall, she plans to take advantage of the dual enrollment program through Linn-Benton Community College and Oregon State University. She intends to major in forensic accounting. For the past four years she has worked at Blue Moon Farm, a research farm north of Lebanon. She does data entry, field work, seed cleaning and mapping. She enjoys the work and plans to continue in her job while attending college. She has a twin brother, Mark, as well as a step-brother, Ben Crutcher.
