And then you are taken to the peak. Will he tell secret to Prisha? Forever is a lie written by Novoneel Chakraborty.. Her characters are admirable. Nicky tries to make each character different, to give them an interesting back story, to make their actions and feelings logical and to hopefully make the reader actually care what happens to the people in the story.
I got this book as a free read, so I was prepared for grammatical errors, extreme exaggerations, and whatnot. Boy, was I surprised. Not only was this book surprisingly well written, but I got so into it that I spent the whole night reading it! I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this book, I look forward to reading more books by this author. The novel was set in third-person with alternating points of view between the main characters.
Stephanie Fields was a foster home child who had a I got this book as a free read, so I was prepared for grammatical errors, extreme exaggerations, and whatnot. Stephanie Fields was a foster home child who had a terrifying experience with a fellow foster kid when she was in her teens. As she got older, she learned to cope with her experience but not without consequences, especially to her love life. One day, she met a handsome stranger who seem to know everything about her and whom she felt a sense of familiarity to. Soon after meeting this stranger, a series of violent events started to occur around her.
Who is this stranger, and was he the bad guy? Admittedly, the points of view were great in the sense that we get to see through the emotions and thought processes of the characters. Eyebrows were raised when I read that Stephanie jumped in the relationship and started calling Jake her boyfriend mere days after meeting him, but the explanation of their past history alleviated this.
I immediately guessed who the villain was after his appearance in the novel and knew who the good guy was, but luckily for me, anyways, I hate reading a predictable novel , the explanation of the good guy's past was interesting and believable but not that original. It was a good read.
I plan to reread it again to sift through the characters' perspectives now that I know that there were 3, instead of 2 points of views. Despite its predictability and convenient tying of loose ends, the novel left me wanting to finish it to kill the sense of suspense in my mind. LOL, if a novel is able to make me do that, then it's a good read. And plus points for making sure the book was well-edited.
I love that! I look forward for more novels by this author. View all 3 comments. Jan 07, S. Stephens rated it it was amazing. If you like stories that will have you glued to the pages, guessing how they are going to end, then Forever in Time is for you! With suspense at every turn and romance sprinkled throughout, it is a fantastic read that I highly recommend! Dec 17, Abir rated it liked it. I just I didn't expect any of that. I feel like I have to go back and re-read it just to catch all the times when I thought it was Jake's POV, though it was really Jarrod.
The problem with this book is that a lot of people may not hold on and stay with it all the way through, I just The problem with this book is that a lot of people may not hold on and stay with it all the way through, they might drop it as soon as it becomes evident that Stephanie is an apparent idiot who is going to hook up with her abuser and they will come off thinking that the author is somehow condoning or fetishizing that.
It's a big risk that the author took, but ultimately it was worth it. I only wish that the paranormal aspect had been worked a little better into the plot Quite a rollercoaster ride, I have to say. Oct 31, Ambulur rated it it was ok. This book started out slow Disappointed with the direction this went in and how quickly everything was concluded like it was an episode from scooby doo or something.
Kept waiting for the stalker to say "and I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids! Do I recommend it Jun 20, Sherrie rated it it was amazing. All I can say is: wow! This certainly had me confused and very concerned about where this story was going and, I might add, a lot anxious for the end results. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, I didn't have it figured out at all. Loved this book! May 02, Jasmine1 rated it it was amazing. I can't believe this book has so few reviews.
It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time trying to determine who was the 'good guy' vs the 'bad guy. Dec 30, Layali rated it it was amazing. Big fan of Nicky Charles she manages to balance between romance and suspence and she always knocks you of your feet. It was ok I love nicky Charles books lycan series.. May 13, Sheila Medvedjevs rated it liked it. I've really come to like this author, after reading The Mating and The Keeping.
Now and Forever, a Love Story: A Novel of Romantic Suspense [Jean C. Joachim ] on dynipalo.tk *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Passion I've been. This review is from: Now and Forever 1, a Love Story (Kindle Edition) This is a beautiful love story. The entire story is such a feel-good romance with some suspense, as Callie and Those who love contemporary romance will love this book!.
While I prefer that series over this book, I did think the premise was really interesting. Based on the title I assumed the story involved time travel, but that's not really the case. She definitely keeps you guessing. The ending lends itself well to this becoming a series. View 2 comments.
Sep 24, S. Stevens rated it it was amazing. I read this book a while ago and thoroughly enjoyed the story. The concept was original and flowed at a good pace. If you want an epic love story without the epic hours you would need to invest then Forever In Time is a good choice, its 61, words of pure reading bliss. Dec 27, Mari rated it really liked it.
It was nice to see Nicky Charles take a step away from the Lycan series. Again, this author has such a way of bringing these characters to life. Wonderful book to read. Oct 17, Mandy71 rated it liked it. Can anyone tell me where I can download this book for my iPhone. Feb 25, Susan rated it liked it Shelves: contemporary-fiction , romance , suspense-thriller. I hated this book the first time through, which was a couple weeks ago. I like romances a lot. I read them for rather than in spite of their predictability and guaranteed HEAs. In this the author deliberately sets out to keep you confused as to who the bad guy is.
