Available They really completed the night. Not only is the band extremely talented, but they also know how to make a crowd come alive! We loved every second of their performance. They got all our guests up and dancing, both young and old. Colin really listened to the types of music we wanted played and the band took that and ran with it- selecting the perfect mix of songs to entertain our guests.
We also had a few members perform during our cocktail hour, which was the perfect addition! Having moved out of state, it was very difficult to research and find vendors remotely. This band came with the highest of recommendations from the various venues we visited as well as from some of our friends who had attended weddings with the band in the past. They are great communicators and stay on top of all your needs. Best Band Ever, everyone at the wedding was blown away. They are a fabulous artist, know a ridiculous amount of songs and are super entertaining.
We had been telling people about the amazing band that we had hired for our wedding for the last year and people said that you were even better than they expected obviously! We had such an amazing wedding and you guys were a huge reason for that. Thank you again for making our wedding such a fun and memorable party. We hired them to perform at our wedding on September 6th, , after hearing of them from a friend and seeing them perform live once in Boston. Could not have been happier with their performance. Not only did they bring an unbelievable amount of energy and fun, they were incredibly accommodating.
They learned a ton of Jewish music to play for our Hora, which I believe lasted around 20 minutes. We were so impressed! I only gave them 4. You can try and save a few bucks here or there on decorations, caterer, etc. The band was energetic and encouraged a lively atmosphere. They were flexible all along the way to our wedding as we continuously adjusted our reception schedule and plan. We provided the band some songs we liked and they took it and ran with the night, keeping people on the dance floor all night. We received countless compliments about how great the band was.
Some guests even asked for the contact information so they could potentially use them in the future. Groovin You made our wedding special, and I would recommend them to anyone that wants their guests to have a good time. From the energy, the professionalism, the talent to the band members themselves, I cannot say enough about these guys.
Our wedding guests were blown away at how awesome the band was. We had a summit ceremony and we had the band play AT the summit. This meant strapping amps, instruments and themselves to the chairlift to the top. Our reception was a kickass party and it was all thanks to these guys. They played the perfect mix of songs and there were more than people on the dancefloor! I also want to make a note about their professionalism pre-and-post wedding. Colin was absolutely fantastic to work with running through the contract and payment terms. My wife and I hired Groovin You! We had originally gone to see a different band, but after seeing them, they blew us away.
We booked them the next day and it was the best decision we ever made. We wanted our wedding to stand out, so we got a good caterer and a venue on a mountain top in a barn…but the only thing people couldnt stop talking about was the band. They were absolutely incredible. They played our ceremony perfectly and even learned our first dance song for us. Colin and the Groovin you band are absolutely unbelievable and i cant stress enough that they were the reason our wedding was a huge hit with all of our friends and family. These guys really know how to read the crowd and keep the party going.
Their extensive repertoire allows to go in a number of directions. We loved their energy from the very first time we heard them, and our guests are still talking about the band weeks after the wedding. The group is also very professional and easy to work with — we had a family member perform, and they were more than willing to accommodate, including making arrangements prior to the event.
Everyone at our wedding had a blast and danced the night away. The band was really flexible with the set up, as set up had to happen really early ceremony and reception were on the same lawn. They made the party at our wedding. Our guests literally have not stopped talking about this group! When Justina and I booked them for our wedding we knew our guests were in for a treat but they exceeded our expectations exponentially. We are going to relive that night over and over again!
The dance floor was slammed all night long! Also, the way they all interacted with our guests made us feel as though we had a group of old friends playing at our wedding. I am glad you guys stopped by the after party for a bit, it was great to chat with all of you. You all are stars and have a bright future ahead! Every single member of the band is incredibly talented. My husband and I met through music and have a lot of friends in bands, and people who are much more musically inclined than me commented on their knock-out talent and professionalism.
I just knew they helped us throw a rocking party! They knew a plethora of songs, from the latest pop numbers to Frank Sinatra.
They learned two songs for us — for our first dance and the cake cutting — and did those fantastically. Once the dancing got started, they did not take a single break! Seriously, no break. A family friend noted that they transitioned from one song to the next without a pause — like a DJ would — which really kept the energy and fun going. What I loved was how interactive they were with the crowd, coming out and dancing with everyone.
They had us give them a list of our favorite, must-play songs, and I noted that they only played those ones when my husband and I were in the ballroom dancing rather than outside talking — a very nice touch. They pulled us up on stage for the last song and had us look out at all our loved ones and the scene, and I will forever be grateful to them for giving us that wonderful mental image. A few additional details I wanted to know while band browsing: They did a three piece ensemble for the cocktail hour outside for us in addition to the full band for dinner and dancing.
We had them add a saxaphonist to the regular six piece band, which was awesome if you like that, but probably not even necessary because their sound was so full. They had both a male and female soloist. They brought their own lighting, so we did not need to also get uplighting. They walked into our venue for the first time 2 hours before the event it was a museum so we had limited set up time and perfectly worked with the acoustics to have the appropriate sound levels.
Go with Groovin You for your event, you will not be sorry! Thank you again Colin and the gang! Seriously you guys were the hit of the night. We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding so fun and memorable. We had some pretty strange requests and you accommodated them all AND knocked them out of the park. You guys not only sounded great, you interacted with and were able to read the crowd- which was made up of all age groups.
All of our guest could not stop raving about how awesome you were. Anytime you guys were playing, the dance floor was packed. They made an impression. Thank you so much for everything. Seriously, you guys ROCK! They are skilled young musicians. They know classics, they know new stuff.

It feels like they are a group of fun friends at your dance party, not just a band up on a stage. SUPER high energy dance party. Everyone loved the band. I cannot thank you enough for putting on the best wedding our guests had ever been to. You sounded awesome, you got people dancing we thought would never dance, and you played stuff that added at the last minute— you made us so happy and helped create an event we will never forget.
I look forward to our next big soiree so we can turn to you guys once more! They played at our wedding at the New England Aquarium and our guests were so impressed by their musical talent and interaction with the crowd. All of the band members were very professional, and they met all our requests for songs. They also had to meet specific requests of our event location, and everything ran very smoothly.
Our dance floor was packed, and guests continue to tell us how much fun they had and how impressed they were with the band. Some have also asked where we found them and how they can hire them too! They played a big part in making our wedding a great time! Thank you for being so patient and understanding during a somewhat chaotic process. You sounded great! Isaiah is a gifted vocalist and arranger who hails from the Newark, New Jersey area. As such, Isaiah was exposed to recording sessions, concerts and various styles at an early age. Kyana was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.
A graduate of Oakland School for the Arts, she studied music performance and trained under the influence of two Berklee College of Music graduates and alumni. Raised in a culturally diverse environment, Steven was exposed to many styles of music which later helped shape his sound as both a guitarist and vocalist. After performing and touring in several successful original acts, in addition to managing his own recording studio, Steven decided to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where he currently resides.
Henri grew up in Rochester NY, with a musical family who encouraged the arts at a very young age. Whether it was acting and singing on stage, jamming with his siblings and parents each night, or putting together groups of likeminded musicians to play local events, nothing seemed to quench his thirst for performance.
He started playing piano by ear when he was eleven and never looked back. At the age of fifteen Daniel became interested in recording, beginning with his own music and eventually expanding to the music of local bands in his town. Now in his sixth semester at Berklee, Daniel has produced a multitude of songwriters and has flourished as a songwriter himself.
He has been playing drums for 15 years and has toured throughout the region since Cole plans to continue his career as a musician after college with a degree in performing arts. It was an honor and a great way to kick off our year. Enough said. It doesn't get much better than having your wedding in the heart of Boston at The Liberty Hotel.
